Fr. Maurice Restivo, CSB | Pastor

Father Maurice was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He professed vows in the Basilian Fathers in 1983, and was ordained to the priesthood in 1986.

Since ordination he has served in various capacities in parishes in Texas, in Cali, Colombia, at St. Anne’s in Detroit, and more recently as Pastor at Most Holy Trinity Church in Angleton, Texas. He has a doctorate in theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, and has taught at the University of St. Thomas School of Theology in Houston, the University of St. Michael’s College Faculty of Theology in Toronto, and St. Joseph’s College in Edmonton.

He is also a member of the Christian Peacemaker Teams and has served on team in Hebron in the Palestinian Territories. He is passionate about justice issues, good food, and pottery.
