“Take care that you do not despise one of these little ones; for, I tell you, in heaven their angels continually see the face of my Father in heaven.” – Matthew 18

Youth Ministry is the response of the Christian Community to the needs of young people and their families fostering their development as Catholic Christians and drawing them into responsible participation in the life, mission and ministry of the Church.

Currently here at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish we are offering programs for children in JK to Grade 8.

Sunday Morning Programs:

Both our Li’l Saints Sunday School and God’s Mighty Minions Liturgy of the Word programs have now ended for the summer. Programs will resume in the fall. Have a safe and blessed summer. We hope to see you at mass.

Currently here at Assumption we offer two programs for children that place Sunday mornings during the 11am mass.  Both the programs are an excellent way for the children to read and learn about the Gospel, while parents enjoy and listen to the morning mass.

God’s Mighty Minions is a Liturgy of the Word program for children ages 5 to 10.  Children will be called up to the front of the church by Father, receive a special blessing and then head downstairs to learn about God’s Word.  The children will return to their seats at the offertory collection so that they can be a part of the Liturgy of the Eucharist with their families.

Li’l Saints is a Sunday School program for children for children ages 2 to 4. Children can be dropped off before mass begins and can be picked up at the end of mass.
