JUST IN TIME FOR MOTHER’S DAY! On Saturday, May 11 at 11 am near the Rectory garages at Assumption Church there will be an outdoor morning of making “natural” bookmarks, planting seeds and flowers in pots you paint, an outdoor “natural” Scavenger Hunt to find the beauty of Nature around us which is God’s Creation. This event called Laudato Si/Care of Creation Day for Families will run an hour and is open to the Heritage Family of Parishes.
You will craft and learn about how God wants us to care of the Earth as well as bring home a gift for Mom.
This is a free event but please register at ltibor@dol.ca or call and leave numbers attending at 519 253 2493 x227. Bring a chair as no seating will be provided. In case of rain we will meet in the shelter of the garage.
