My name is Rebecca Saad, and I am blessed to serve as the new Director of Campus Ministry at Assumption University – the historic Catholic university federated with the University of Windsor.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with youth, students, newcomers, and our broader community. Having completed my Graduate Diploma in Catholic Studies at Assumption University, I am excited to bring together my experience, my passion to assist young people, and my faith in this new ministry.
The mission of Campus Ministry is to create a welcoming and supportive community where students can grow in their faith, build meaningful friendships, ask questions, pray, and feel a true sense of belonging. We hope to connect with students at Assumption University, the University of Windsor, and Assumption College Catholic High School, including our many international students.
Assumption University’s Student Lounge is open Monday to Thursday, from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Students are welcome to drop in to study, enjoy a small snack, meet other students, or simply have a quiet and welcoming place to spend some time. The Student Lounge is located in Assumption Hall, Room 200. I am also available to meet with students on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00–pm tom 2:00pm.
I look forward to building a strong connection between our parish and our young people and creating opportunities for our community to walk alongside them in faith.
